Planting a Garden and Making Paper Pots

What can you plant now? What to plant in a lush fall garden? We will discuss what to grow at which times and I’ll share tips for growing a backyard garden in the desert. This class also has a hands-on component. After talking about what to grow, we will create a paper pot, add soil and plant a sunflower seed. Everyone goes home with a gardening handout and a potted plant.
