River Run Network Creek Walk: Sabino Canyon Wet & Wild!

Get ready to explore one of the lushest riparian areas in Southern Arizona, Sabino Canyon! We’re counting on the monsoon rains and planning to get wet—so be prepared for an adventure involving creek crossings and swimming holes.

 

Join WMG staff Lisa Shipek for this vigorous creek walk, covering 3-4 miles at sunset time. You’ll need to be prepared for hot, humid, all weather conditions and hiking back in the dark. This will be a great opportunity to learn and explore alongside other RRN members. This will be a physically distanced event, if you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask. This event is limited to 20 people.

 

This event is organized through WMG’s River Run Network. If you are not yet a member, we will add you to the Network when you register for this event. RRN membership is free and includes a biweekly email with invitations to creek walks, family education events, river clean-ups, restoration workshops, and advocacy events to help restore our heritage of flowing rivers.
