Urban Garden Tour: Creating a Sustainable Urban Garden without a Soil Footprint

In this tour, the team from the Desert Marigold School will give a hands-on presentation of their experiences, research findings, and results from their first year of growing produce utilizing the aeroponic tower gardens. 

The Desert Marigold School is located on a beautiful, 12-acre campus at the foot of South Mountain. Their biodynamic garden, protected nature pond, and resident farm animals give substance to the school’s commitment to sustainability as an intrinsic part of their curriculum.
