Arizona Paddlesports Education Course

Apr 10 2021 - 8:00am
About the Event

Covid information: Instructors will wear masks and maintain a minimum of 6' social distancing from the students. Students are asked to wear a mask and maintain social distancing practices. All equipment is sanitized prior to class. Masks and hand sanitizer will be on hand for use. Be sure to cancel your registration if you or someone in your household becomes sick.
The class will take place at Lake Havasu State Park. At the park entrance ask for directions to the AZGFD Paddlesports Class located at the overflow lot. Shade and seating will be provided but feel free to bring your own comfy camp chair for the "classroom" portion. The water portion will take place in a sheltered area just off the beach at the overflow lot.
Bring a lunch or snack to eat after the classroom portion and before we get on the water. Wear shoes that can get wet (your feet WILL get wet). Don't forget a towel and a change of clothes as swimming can happen to the best paddler :) Students must be 10 years of age or older in order to attend. If you are registering a minor under the age of 18, a parent or guardian over the age of 18 must accompany them to the class. Most importantly, please do not forget to print and sign the Consent Waiver provided below in the "Requirements" section.
