Colorado River Delta (El Golfo)

The delta of the Colorado River, where it empties into the Gulf of California, is a short 90 minute drive south of the Arizona border with Mexico. Dave Sussman has been visiting “El Golfo” for nearly 50 years and has assembled a PowerPoint presentation that illustrates the many fascinating aspects of the delta, from beaches to birds to geology and fossils, plus snakes and other critters, and, of course, the glorious sunsets.
