River Run Network Cleanup: Along Rillito River and Campbell Ave

River Run Network Cleanup: Along Rillito River and Campbell Ave

Dec 10 2022 - 3:00pm
The Rillito River runs along the northern boundary of Tucson – from the confluence of Tanque Verde Creek and Pantano Wash to the Santa Cruz River. Tucsonans admire this place, especially the The Loop bike path, the Mexican free-tailed bats that fly out from under Campbell bridge, along with a remarkable Sonoran desert sunset. The river has seen lots of flow over the monsoon season; and trash flows with it. The River Run Network has Flow365 Monitors at this site, and we hope to share more of this beauty with others and make it a cleaner, greener place. Come join us as we clean up along the Rillito river to share some love with our creeks and rivers.

This event is organized through WMG’s River Run Network. If you are not yet a member, we will add you to the Network when you register for this event. RRN membership is free and gives you access to a variety of virtual, dispersed, and physically distanced events including creek walks, restoration activities, river clean-ups, and educational workshops.
