River Run Network Restoration Workshop: Beavering in the Bosque

River Run Network Restoration Workshop: Beavering in the Bosque

Apr 30 2022 - 8:00am

Come along with us and "beaver" at this restoration workshop located within beautiful Cienega Creek preserve! You’ll be working with your hands, like a beaver, to create wood post dams in a mesquite bosque (forest). You’ll also explore the area with our restoration staff - experiencing the work done to enhance the Cienega Creek ecosystem by other River Run Network members in previous workshops. So, come out and get your hands dirty to help slow, spread, and sink the flow in the bosque.

Carpooling from WMG’s Living Lab & Learning Center is recommended.

This event is organized through WMG’s River Run Network. If you are not yet a member, we will add you to the Network when you register for this event. RRN membership is free and gives you access to a variety of virtual, dispersed, and physically distanced events including creek walks, restoration activities, river clean-ups, and educational workshops.
