Tanque Verde Flow & Feast on Earth Day!

Join us for Earth Day and WMG’s 3rd Annual Tanque Verde Flow and Feast at Isabella Lee Nature Preserve. This free, family-friendly event features creek walks, a catered dinner with local flavors, craft beer, live music, and star gazing. Like many creeks and rivers in the Tucson region, this sensitive riparian area once flowed for most of the year. But today, due to heavy groundwater pumping, Tanque Verde Creek only flows after major storms. During this fun and enlightening event, we will explore our connections to flowing desert creeks and discover ways we - as a community - can help restore them through WMG's River Run Network.
