Hiking through a Desert Forest

Hiking through a Desert Forest

Apr 13 2018 - 8:00am to 11:00am

Let’s go hiking on one of the ranger’s favorite hikes, a hike through a desert forest with a running creek! This area attracts a good number of wildlife, so we will keep a sharp eye out. This moderate hike is under 4 miles and will last about 3 hours. Bring water, a snack and wear good hiking shoes. Hiking poles are good for the creek crossings if you wish to bring. We will meet near the restrooms in the east parking lot of the 10-lane boat ramp, just follow the in-park “Hike” signs. See you for a fun hike!
